A Testimony of Hope

As people write to me about their destructive eating habits, I see that there is a great need that has not been filled within our Christian family. Many of our Christian brothers and sisters who are struggling with depression, eating disorders, abuse, addictions, chronic illnesses, etc...are turning to secular Psychology, and even to psychics, to find the answers they are looking for, to fill that void in their lives. The Bible clearly states that God's word is where we need to be looking for the answers first!

ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2nd Tim. 3:16-17 (KJV, emphasis added)

Pease don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to put down the medical professionals that God has given to us, I'm saying that the first thing we need to do is look to instruction from our Father. We need to make sure that our heart is right and ready to receive that instruction from Him. As a Christian, He has given us the power to overcome the problems in life that seems so overwhelming to us that we feel there is no hope. That, my friend, is a LIE straight from pit! THERE IS HOPE. For God's word tells us:

There hath NO temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but GOD IS FAITHFUL, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye MAY BE ABLE TO BEAR IT. 1 Cor. 10:13 (KJV, ephasis added)

So, the purpose of this site ring is to find those Christian sisters who have sought sound instruction from God's word, who are now confident with who they are in Christ, and are overcomers in whatever it is that they struggle with. My hope is that, working together, we will be able to provide a great hope and testimony so that I don't receive any more email that states, 'There are no Christians out there who can help me' or 'Christians just don't understand what I'm going through!'

Terms and Conditions

1. Your site must glorify Jesus Christ. It must contain a statement of faith, your personal testimony, and present the Gospel message.

2. Since the purpose of this ring is to provide a testimony of hope, your sitepanel must be placed on your testimony page.

3. You must believe in one personal, transcendent, and holy God, the creator of all. Who is eternal, and Who manifests Himself in three separate persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

4. You must believe that Jesus Christ, though fully God, became a man for the suffering of death, that He is the promised Messiah, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the Cross, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us.

5. You must believe that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God.

6. You must believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit who indwells, seals, and empowers every believer, baptizing them into the Body of Christ. You must also believe that the Holy Spirit will come upon any believer who asks in faith, enabling him/her to preach the Gospel in power.

7. You must believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments, in the original autographs, is the inspired, infallible Word of God, a complete and final written revelation of God.

8. You must believe in a personal devil called Satan who, along with all his evil angels, called demons, is destined to spend eternity in hell, and who now seeks to deceive the believers and defeat the work of God, but who can be resisted by believers who are in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit, protected by God, and interceded for by Jesus Christ our Lord.

9. You must reject doctrinal viewpoints or spiritual phenomena which are based solely on experience. In other words, look soley to the Word of God for the basis of all your faith and practice.

10. Your site cannot contain any rude, obscene, or otherwise unagreeable content.

11. We reserve the right to cancel any site ring member at any time for any reason. Any disputes will be resolved by leadership.

12. You must maintain a valid email address at all times while a member of this ring.

13. If any of the above Terms and Conditions are not met at any time then your site will be temporarily removed from membership with the ultimate goal being restoration. If the violation is unable to be resolved then you will be removed from the ring. Sites will be checked on a regular basis.

14. If, once you are a member, any of the above Terms and Conditions ever change you will be notified via email.

Instructions

Once you apply to join this ring, you will be sent a Site ID. You will need teh code for the sitepanel. The sitepanel you see below is what it will look like. If you are going to apply, you need to download this sitepanel to your hard drive now, and then upload it to your site. You will then place the code (below) on the page that you list in the Beauty4Ashes Sitering. Please make sure to make the changes listed below to make your code work properly. Please do not change the code that is sent to you. Your sitepanel will not be activated until after your site has been reviewed and accepted. 1. Be sure to download the Beauty4Ashes Sitering sitepanel, located above. Please do not 'hotlink' the sitepanel! I will be checking for this. You must download this panel and then up load it to your site. Make sure you change the path to where you uploaded your code. For example:

Now you need to make some minor changes to your code.
Here's how:

2. In order for your panel to work you must add in your Site ID to the HTML code. Just change the following:

Look in the code for: ***SITE ID***
Chage it to: the site ID you were assigned when you signed up to be in the webring.
There are six places to change your site ID.

3. Your email address:

Look in the code for: YOUREMAIL@YOUREMAIL.com
Chage it to: Your own email address
There is one place to change your email at.
It is optional for you to add your own personal email since it will more than likely cause you to receive spam. It's up to you. If you have an alternate email specifically for this purpose that would be great. I use an alternate email addy for my sitepanel and I change it when the spam gets bad. If you do not wish to use this function, just leave it as is, or change it to say something like "Not Available".

4. Be sure that you placed your sitepanel on your testimony page. I will also not accept any sites that do not place the Beauty4Ashes sitepanel on their testimony page. The whole purpose of this sitering is to have our testimonies of hope easily available to those who are in need of hope...so they don't have to search all over your site for it.

5. I will not accept any sites until the site panel code is correctly in place because it will cause a break in the chain if your code is not correct. So please do not change anything that is not listed here.
